Mode of operation:

Together with in-floor induction loops the FULD loop detectors are a universal system of sensors for vehicle recording.

In-floor loops have the induction of an LC-oscillator. Vehicles moving into the induction loop vary the resonating frequency. This change is detected and analysed by the microprocessor inside the loop detector.

Loop detectors are characterised by the following:

High sensitivity independent of the loop's inductivity
Automatic calibration for different loop geometries
duration-independent signaling with engaged loop
Automatic error detection
Integrated diagnostics with display of loop frequency and sensitivity
