Inductive Transmission Systems

Induction System ISK 74-31

Inductive systems are mainly used with sliding gates and enable contact transmission without physical contact and subsequent erosion of parts.

Up to four contact strip circuits can be connected to the system.

Input: 2x stationary (open/close), 2x mobile (main contact strip/secondary contact strip)

Inductive Signal Transmission

The wire rope system ISK combines mobile (riding along) signal transmitters with stationary monitors without the use of mechanical contacts, i.e. based on induction alone.

The electronics produce a fixed frequency in a closed circuit. A second circuit, connected to the mobile sensor receives this frequency and sends a signal to the monitor in case of a cable break or the triggering of a signal.

ISK Safety Switches are designed for a large variety of applications. In case of a malfunction the corresponding SKL circuit can be associated with one of two Stop instructions (stop on open or stop on close).

To enable rest-current monitoring of the system, every final safety contact strip has an integrated terminating resistor. The rest-current activates the output relay and closes the contacts. If the circuit is activated, or the circuit is cut, the relay opens.

To increase reliability of the system both output channels have two switching stages with relays connected in series.

Two LEDs indicate the state of the relays. The units comply with the latest EN-gate standards regulations.
