Together with in-floor induction loops the FULD loop detectors are a universal system of sensors for vehicle recording.
In-floor loops have the induction of an LC-oscillator. Vehicles moving into the induction loop vary the resonating frequency. This change is detected and analysed by the microprocessor inside the loop detector.
Loop detectors are characterised by the following:
- High sensitivity independent of the loop's inductivity
- Automatic calibration for different loop geometries
- duration-independent signaling with engaged loop
- Automatic error detection
- Integrated diagnostics with display of loop frequency and sensitivity
- CE-compliant construction
